Connor's First Christmas

Connor had a great first Christmas! I think that he was a little overwhelmed but he loved all of his new toys!

6 Months Stats

Connor turned 6 months old on Nov. 18th! I can't believe that he is 1/2 a year old already. We had his check up the day before Thanksgiving which went well until it was time for shots! 4 shots and a liquid thing , made him very angry. Needless to say he ended up being sick over the Thanksgiving break. Connor weighed in at 16 lbs 13 ounces and is 27 1/2 inches tall : ) He just keeps growing and getting bigger everyday.

The Circle Of Neglect

Connor loves his circle of neglect! Our friends called his toy this and the name has just stuck! I swear that he could sit and play in it for hours!

Baby Connor Is 6 Months Old

Connor is 6 months old! I can't believe it! He is talking up a storm, eating everything in sight, and getting new teeth! He is so much fun and we just can't get enough of him :)

Already?

Connor has..... teeth! Yes that right! Not just one tooth, but two teeth. He doesn't want to show them off quite yet, and keeps them covered with his tongue. However he doesn't hesitate to bite a finger if he gets the chance.

Happy Halloween

I love Fall. Leaves, pumpkins, all of it. We took Connor to the Pumpkin Patch. Apparently he doesnt like the way straw feels so the picture taking was cut short! Connor had a blast experiencing his first Halloween.

Just Ducky

What happens to you when you become a parent? You start buying things that really babies should never wear, but yet you make them. This is Connor in his ducky bathrobe. Yes --a bathrobe. It is too cute though!!

First Family Pictures

We had our first family pictures taken on Oct. 2nd. We were supposed to go up to Snowbird to have them taken, but the snow came and the plans had to change. We ended up at Snowbasin and it was wonderful. Pictures with a 4 month old was harder than I had imagined. Connor did a great job though!

Yum Yum!

Connor has been fighting a cold this week! Today he was feeling better so we had our first attempt at rice cereal. He seemed to like it--I think!

Baby Connor Is 4 Months Old!

Connor just had his 4 month check up. He weighed in at 15 pounds 4 ounces and he is 26 1/4 inches long. He hated getting his shots and was miserable for the whole next day.

What am I going to do?!

So one of my kids asked me how to spell P.E. today. I of course replied "Well you just write the letter P and then the letter E. He still needed me to write it on the board for him! Lets just say that I have an awful lot of work to do!

My big mistake!

On the first day of school I of course put my foot in my mouth! This is how the conversation went.

Student: Hi Mrs. Simmons
Me: Hey BUD who are you?
Student: I'm Abbygayle!

I should have known when I saw the pearl earrings !

Here They Come !

Today is the 1st day of school. 20 new faces to memorize before they even get there! Of course they are totally offended if you don't know who they are when they arrive at the door! Goodbye clean, organized and peaceful classroom. I will see you again a year from now. Bring on the kids!

Connor Is 3 Months Old!

Connor is 3 months old already and the time has just flown by. On Saturday we had his pictures taken, and I have to say he is very cute. I know that I am biased because I am his mom, but he really is cute!!

Back to Work

Well its official! I have gone back to work. Don't get me wrong, I am excited to be at school again but my heart is not feeling the same way. I can't believe that I am leaving my baby everyday. Its not all bad though! Thanks to Eli's sister and Connor's grandma we are avoiding daycare for the first year. This does make it a little easier for me to deal with :)

Chad and Jennifer

Our cute friends Chad and Jennifer came into town from California. Eli and Chad have been friends for years. It was so much fun to introduce them to our little guy. Connor is so lucky to have Chad and Jen in his life. We can't wait to see them again!

2 months old!

Connor is growing so quickly! He just went for his 2 month check up and he weighed in at 12 pounds 1 and 1/2 ounces. He measured in at 23 3/4 inches tall. He is perfecting his smile and practicing all kinds of cute baby sounds.

Connor Simmons

Connor Alexander Simmons arrived on May 18th 2009. Bless his little heart! We were very excited that he arrived a week early. I guess he knew that his Mom was ready for a break from the 8 year olds!
