Spaghetti

Ok so I have been told that every parent must have a spaghetti face picture! So here is ours!

18 months!

I can't believe that my baby is 18 months old! We went for our check up and found out that we are still struggling in the weight department. Connor is a light weight weighing in at 23 pounds and 3 ounces. We will keep working on the eating !!! He is now 33 inches tall which makes him tall apparently! Hmmm I wonder where he got that from!

Happy Halloween!

It was brought to my attention that I need to do some major updates. Apparently I am a blog "slacker" , so I will try to be more on top of things! Connor loved dressing up for Halloween ! He went to a pumpkin party, a family party and to a few neighbors doors to get some treats. Overall he did pretty well.

Today I Hate My Job!!

Today I hate my job! I am so sick of children that don't listen, stupid parents, and irritating behavior. If your neighbor hates it when you touch them, then DON'T touch them! If you don't know the rules yet then go home. If you can be kind and want to learn then by all means stay in third grade.

Kiddie Kandids

I love Kiddie Kandids. The people that work there are amazing. However one very stubborn toddler can stump them! Connor chose to have a "serious" photo shoot rather than a "smilie" one. Oh well--I guess there is always next time!

Eli had the day off so we decided to take Connor to Thanksgiving Point to visit Farm Country.

A Day At The Park

Connor loves to be outside and play. We have a cute park just down the street that he likes to play at. Hopefully this time next year Connor will have his own backyard playset!

Busy Summer!

Wow the summer is just flying by. I feel as though I have to get the most out of my time off but seriously how do you do that with a toddler? One activity a day is enough! Connor has been busy learning how to float and has been going to Gymboree for a play group class. It amazes me how fearless he is and how much trouble one little guy can cause :)

School's Out For Summer!

How can 180 days have gone by so fast? I swear I spent the last 4 weeks counting down the days until I could send them out the door and on to fourth grade! So why is it so hard to say good bye to them? With lots of tears I sent my little family of 18 out the door into a new world where I will not be. Who will feed them breakfast and tell them that they are smart, talented, not a booger eater, etc.? This really has been the greatest group of kids that I have ever had and they have taught me so many great things. I will miss each and every one of them--even the naughty ones.

Connor's 1st Birthday!

Connor turned one on May 18th, 2010. I can't believe that my little guy is no longer a baby but a toddler! We decided to have Connor's Rubber Ducky party at the park by our house. It sounded like a great idea! Who knew that it would be 40-50 degrees that day! Connor had a great time though and in a way I think that he knew that everyone was there for him. Thanks so much to all of you who braved the weather to make his day so special!

One year ago today Connor joined our family. We have loved every minute of him and are loving watching him learn and grow. Happy Birthday Connor !

23 Days and Counting!

I love my job! Really I do! However these last 23 days could quite possibly KILL me. I hate this time of year. The kids go from being sweet and delightful to little monsters. This year is definitely in need of being over. Maybe its harder for me this year because last year I was lucky enough to take the last three weeks off (thanks Connor!)

Ooopps!

So last night at 7:30 there was a knock at our front door. This NEVER happens. People don't visit us!! So Eli answered the door and there was a Draper City police officer standing there. We thought that they were going door to door asking for donations. Instead we come to find out that they are responding to a 911 call. Ummm.... well we didn't call 911 but apparently Connor did! He is so grounded from the phone!!

Connor's First Cookie

So I got a video camera for Christmas and I really haven't had the chance to play with it yet until today. Connor had his first cookie--a biter biscuit -- today. He loved it. You will have to put up with my amateur skills but I promise I will work on them!

9 Months Old

Connor turned 9 months old today! I can't believe that we are so quickly apporaching his first birthday. I am looking for 1st birthday party ideas! Let me know if you have any good ones!
Here are some of the things that he can do:

• Crawl
• Stand up
• Feed himself puffs
• Play
• Throw a tantrum

This time last year I was frantically buying baby gear and getting ready for him to arrive and now I am already putting things that he has out grown away. How time flies : )

Bath Time Fun

Connor loves the bath. Shoving the duck into his mouth seemed like a great idea and then it got stuck! I guess you live and learn :)
