Worst Blogger Ever!

So I really don't know how many people even read our blog anymore! I am a blog slacker! Life really does just get away from you! My goal is to be a better blogger. So here I go! Connor started preschool in August. He loves it. I don't know what I was so afraid of. The other day when I get there to pick him up he told me that he wanted to stay with his teachers. In a way it breaks my heart but I am so grateful that he feels safe and loved at school. He has two of the cutest teachers I have ever seen. They are so sweet and patient. And most of all he loves having friends. However with friends come GERMS! We have been sick on and off for the last three months. I swear if that poor little guy comes down with one more thing I will have to quit my job ;) (well it sounds good even if it is not a reality!) Eli and I are busy working as normal. If I just make it six more days it will all be good! I can't wait for a week off at Christmas to spend some time with my lil' guy!

We Did It!

We did it! We have officially made it through the first weeks of school. Connor started preschool (well daycare-but I can't call it that) on the 23rd of August. I was a complete mess. I couldn't even drop him off. Not that this would be a surprise to any of you. I was so excited to pick him up that afternoon. I secretly wanted him to run over to me, calling my name and being so excited to see me. He didn't do that. He looked at me and said "Look Mom, Cars!" Needless to say he is loving school. I am so grateful that I found the center he is at. They are amazing :) My school on the other hand is not quite so enjoyable. I think that this is the lowest group of kiddos I have ever had. People keep telling me not to worry because I will be able to see a lot of growth by the end of the year! I hope June 1st gets here soon ;)

Toot Toot !! Connor is Two!

Connor turned two on May 18th !! How did we go from this ..........

Two Months

To this................................... Two Years Old
Connor is a typical boy. He loves all things that move or have wheels....especially Thomas. Lucky for us, Thomas visits the Heber Valley Railroad every year a few days after Connor's birthday. We had a great time even though the weather was cold for Memorial Day weekend (45 degress)

Bye Bye Binkie?

So the pediatrician told me that I need to get rid of binkie ASAP! I had planned on waiting until I was home for summer but I guess that is not soon enough. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't think that he will understand the concept of the binkie fairy yet!!

Taxes, taxes

So Eli and I PROMISED Connor that we would get him a swing set when he turned two. He's not two yet..........but after finding out how expensive swing sets are we decided that we had better use our taxes for this purchase! So here it is........ Connor's new swing set.

Gymboree!!!

We LOVE Gymboree! For anyone out there that hasn't heard about Gymboree Play and Music, you have to look into it! Connor goes to class a couple of times a week and it is so great for him. He learns so much and it gives him time to interact with a small group of kids that are his own age.

Being a fearless jumper!
Just crawling through a tunnel!

December

December just seems so much more enjoyable with a little guy. Everything was new and exciting! Connor loved un-decorating the Christmas tree (which was a daily thing) Our tree ended up having very few ornaments on the lower branches!

We took a cold walk around Gardner Village to check out the Elves. Connor wasn't to interested in getting out of his cozy stroller!

Christmas was amazing! Every time Connor left the room he forgot about his new toys. His reaction when he returned to the room was priceless each time! Opening presents was a difficult skill in the morning but it was fully mastered by the afternoon!
